Grant to St Elizabeth's Centre (360G-HertsCF-A597435)

£10,000

All of our service users have severe epilepsy/complex health conditions, which make them very vulnerable to Covid. They also require personal care/support to keep fed, washed and safe, which means social distancing is difficult. Many have struggled with the necessary changes to their routine and with inactivity, which can then cause health issues, including seizures. They need specialist, consistent support in a Covid-secure environment, enabling social interaction with others, participation in leisure activities/social enterprises, so maintaining current skills and developing new ones, and supporting positive mental health. For day clients, it also provides much-needed respite for their primary carers.
