Recipient Org: Description Enrych exists to empower disabled people to live with purpose, independence, and choice. Founded nearly 40 years ago, Enrych has evolved to address persistent inequalities and barriers that disabled individuals face in accessing opportunities, employment, and social inclusion. Our overarching aim is to create a more inclusive society by removing barriers and challenging discrimination. We do this through three strategic pillars: achieving independence and choice, closing the disability employment gap, and changing societal attitudes toward disability. We provide a range of services and activities designed to support disabled people and their families. These include: - A tailored employability programme that help individuals build confidence, access career advice, and secure meaningful work. - Community-based activities that foster social connections and improve wellbeing. - Digital inclusion initiatives to overcome barriers in accessibility, skills, and confidence. - Advocacy and awareness campaigns to influence policy, workplace culture, and public attitudes. We work collaboratively with schools, employers, funders, local authorities, and other charities to co-produce services that reflect the lived experiences of disabled people. Our approach is person-centred, evidence-informed, and focused on long-term impact. By 2030, we aim to see more disabled people living independently, greater equity in employment, improved representation in media, and enhanced access to respite care and wellbeing support. Enrych is driven by values of transparency, integrity, respect, and trust. Every service we deliver is designed to empower individuals to live their lives to the fullest.
