Recipient Org: Description Positive Pathways is a grassroots initiative that empowers young people and communities through informal learning, wellbeing, and active participation. We believe that everyone deserves a safe space to grow, connect, and contribute—regardless of background, age, or circumstance. Our programme is built around five core goals: helping people stay safe and take fewer risks; supporting mental and physical health; fostering personal growth and achievement; encouraging economic wellbeing; and enabling individuals to take part in decisions that shape their lives. These goals come to life through a series of inclusive, community-led projects. First Steps! supports young people aged 16–25 in building confidence and skills around careers and employment. Friendly Spaces offers a welcoming environment for advice, guidance, or simply a chat over coffee. Employability Skills provides tailored support for people of all ages seeking work or training. Keep on Target Family Archery Sessions, invites families to learn a new sport together, using teamwork and resilience as tools for life. The Action Team connects volunteers with opportunities to improve wellbeing, gain new skills, and make a meaningful impact. Youth Committee gives young people a real voice in shaping their community’s future. We achieve all this by listening to local voices, sharing knowledge, and involving communities in every step of the process. We raise funds through donations, grants, and partnerships, always striving to create spaces where people feel safe, valued, and inspired. Positive Pathways isn’t just a programme—it’s a movement for change. It’s about unlocking potential, building trust, and creating pathways to a brighter, more connected future.
