READING will form part of newly arrived refugee families orientation through a supported introductory visit to their local library with a storytelling session, engage them in continuing family reading together activities in the especially created story grotto at HHA base and at ongoing rhyme times at libraries, encourage and facilitate much greater participation in community events alongside more settled refugees and the wider community, and all using creativity to develop literacy and confidence.
