Recipient Org: Description Our overall aim is to offer free or subsidised support to people who have chronic health needs and low incomes. The support is in the form of counselling, acupuncture and massage therapies. All of the people who receive this support are referred to us by medical or healthcare professionals from organisations such as GP surgeries, Leeds City Council and other charities such as LeedsMind. We fund this work by several means: we offer the same high-quality therapies to members of the public who pay the market rate, we visit workplaces giving stress management workshops and workplace massage and we rent out our therapy rooms to other qualified health professionals. All of the proceeds generated by our social enterprise are directed towards our charitable fund We also receive donations, apply for grant income and run fund raising events however roughly 90% of our income is from trading activities.
