Recipient Org: Description Bradford Cyrenians was formed in 1972 in direct response to the lack of services for homeless people, including a growing concern around rough sleeping in the Bradford district. It is our aim to provide flexible, preventative support services to vulnerable communities who present with a wide range of multiple and complex issues. The services that we currently operate are 24-hour staffed hostel for men who are statutory homeless Supported tenancies for men and women who are statutory homeless Dispersed housing project working intensively with former Rough Sleepers (Re-Start Project) Floating support service, providing pre tenancy support and ongoing support to service users once they have gained appropriate long term accommodation. Men’s domestic abuse service consisting of confidential helpline, emergency crash pads, supported accommodation, floating support service, peer support group. Accommodation based, outreach, floating support and prevention support service for ex-offending men, women and couples (STOP project) Long stay Homes4 life service based on the housing first model Accommodation based and floating support service for lone parents.(Parent Plus). Our mission statement is Bradford Cyrenians is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness through the provision of safe and secure housing, advice and support. Using an empowering approach we will work towards enabling vulnerable clients to find positive solutions whilst respecting their individual rights and choices.
