Recipient Org: Description AVSED is a small charity which supports older people in our local area. We work to reduce loneliness and social isolation by offering a place for the over 60s to come together. We provide support and social activities including dementia and inclusion groups, a lunch club, and groups for games, hobbies and interests plus exercise classes. Alongside these, we provide an array of services both in the home and in the community to support independent living and ensure our members have all the tools and information needed to make good decisions on their circumstances. We are part of the Leeds neighbourhood network scheme covering all wards within Leeds and are the Anchor network for Aireborough supporting the whole community to collaborate and join forces to make the area better for all.
