Recipient Org: Description Community Links (CL) is a mental health charity based in Leeds, working across Yorkshire and the Humber. We are an integral part of, and fully integrated into, the Leeds Mental Health and Care systems, providing services supporting those with diagnosed and undiagnosed complex mental health needs (CMHN). With over 40 years’ experience, we have strong networks with communities across Leeds and deliver 19 services, including: •aspire: CL’s Leeds Early Intervention in Psychosis Service supports those aged 14-65 who are, or may be, experiencing their first episode of psychosis. The service aims to reduce the duration of untreated psychosis and support recovery and positive mental health. •Linking Leeds: We are the lead provider of the city-wide social prescribing service working with seven local partners. Our Wellbeing Coordinators work from GP practices in all Primary Care Networks to connect people to services and activities that support their wellbeing. In 2022-2023, CL worked with 8,611 clients in Leeds, including 1,211 of those in our CMHN specialist services, such as aspire and our Eating Disorder Peer Support service. We are also a well-established Leeds-based training provider, with Community Links Training offering award winning training for employees of CL and its sister charity Foundation, and to external companies and third sector organisations. We use our expertise working with people with mental health needs to design specialist training that benefits broader communities, including Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills. Between November 2022 and November 2023, we delivered 253 training sessions to 2,477 participants.
