Recipient Org: Description MHA Communities Rothwell & District was established in August 2000 and is a Neighbourhood network scheme in the local area currently supporting over 471 individuals to live later life well, we have 2 full time and 2 part time members of staff, 20 dedicated volunteers and a solid track record of providing social welfare services and activities for people aged 60+ across Rothwell and the surrounding districts. We currently provide 15 social welfare activities a week including lunch clubs, exercises classes and singing group. We also do monthly day trips and befriending services to over 50 of our members, our most popular social group has an average weekly attendance of 25 members.
