Recipient Org: Description New Wortley Community Association was started on 1982 and has supported the local community in various different ways over the years and expanded in the process. The main aims and objectives of the organisation is to provide inclusive support for local people of Armley and New Wortley to access with a particular focus on Children, young people and their families. The organisation houses many different resources, facilities and services including, counselling services, offender support team, Building Blocks (support service), food pantry, welfare support, bike library, community cafe, hygiene bank and many more. We have a range of activities, sessions and workshops all with a great team of staff able to support, advise and refer to othrr organisations and services where necessary.
