STAR Partnership (Supporting Tenancies, Accommodation and Reconnections) (360G-LondonCouncils-01)

Shelter is leading the specialist STAR (Supporting Tenancies, Accommodation and Resettlement) Partnership, which also includes Praxis, Stonewall Housing and Thames Reach. The aim is to prevent Londoners from becoming homeless, addressing underlying issues and barriers that put target groups at risk of homelessness. The STAR Partnership will deliver activities including: referral into the service through multiple points of access, enabling pan-London reach, London-wide targeted engagement and promotion, and support to directly access accommodation, including crisis accommodation. The intended impact is to: prevent homelessness, help people find the right accommodation for them, help people to maintain accommodation long-term and address underlying issues that increase personal resilience and contribute to homelessness.
