Recipient Org: Description NAYC Northamptonshire association of youth clubs, Educate young people, through their leisure-time activities to develop physically, mentally and spiritual capacities that they may grow to fully mature individuals and as members of society. We set up safe, quality, youth provision, supplying a start-up tool kit, with policies and procedures, DBS, insurance advice. We deliver relevant training for the youth leaders, i.e first aid, and safeguarding. We are passionate about providing young people with a large range of positive activities, sports, crafts, music, cooking, awareness projects, residential trips and outings. Groups have an opportunity to network together with NAYC link meetings, sports and games competitions, plus events such as cycle rides, night walks, and quiz's. Developing and widening young people horizons, offering opportunities for an alternative lifestyle. Our emerging leader’s scheme for 14 –17yrs old, to attend a training weekend which builds confidence, leadership skills, to delivering sessions to support their leaders, making the youth provision sustainable for the next generation. The scheme opens the door to further opportunities, like attend a youth forum, the youth summit team, social action groups, supporting public health, the local council, radio station, homeless, & awareness projects. and recently a young people covid'19 board.
