| Recipient Org: Description | Hope is a charity providing support to those are homeless, hungry or living in hardship. · Hope provides crisis support to the homeless community which rebuilds lives and helps those in need to access and maintain secure accommodation. · Hope provides food and training to members of the community who are hungry and unable to support themselves or their family. · Hope provides community outreach which empowers personal development, supports independent living, and prevents homelessness. We deliver our services through a person-centred approach, encompassing multiple interventions. Our services stretch from immediate crisis intervention through to long lasting sustainable solutions to hardship and homelessness. The charity prides itself on the depth and breadth of support offered building a pathway out of homeless and hardship for individuals and their families. Our provision is led by the individuals we serve and the services we offer are guided by both the economic and community need of those living across Northamptonshire. The charity runs a 6 day a week day centre style service for the homeless community combining drop in sessions to access food, showers, clothing etc with targeted support including one-to-one sessions and group work. Hope also runs a community café as part of it’s Hope in the community outreach program. This offers support to those living in Northampton town Centre experiencing hardship and isolation and begins the journey of support. From here people can access the training, development and therapeutic support on offer at our Ash Street building. Hope also hosts a series of pop up community larders operating from 11 sites across Northamptonshire. Offering weekly access to low cost food, we are now supporting in the region of 2,000 households each week. |
