Recipient Org: Description Every day, women across Northamptonshire face poverty, trauma, and isolation - factors that can lead them into the criminal justice system. At C2C Social Action, we believe every woman deserves a second chance. C2C Social Action is a charity working in Northamptonshire, supporting anyone at any stage of the criminal justice system; whether a person is vulnerable to criminality due to poverty or substance abuse, or they are a prison leaver reintegrating back into the community. Our women’s centre in Northampton are safe, women-only, welcoming spaces where individuals can access ongoing practical help and emotional support - there is no limit to how long we can support women. We also offer drop-in sessions for women at the centres, offering holistic, comprehensive support in crisis situations. In 2025, we have provided over 2,600 support sessions for women and have had some incredible success stories as a result. Our impact is clear: we reduce reoffending, improve mental health, strengthen family relationships, and empower women to live healthy, happy independent lives. Every success story means safer communities, fewer victims, and lives transformed from crisis to stability. We are seeking financial support to sustain and strengthen our women’s centres, which are at the heart of our work. Your investment will ensure these vital spaces remain open and responsive, enabling us to continue delivering life-changing interventions and building stronger, safer communities across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.
