| Recipient Org: Description | Youth Borough CIC exists to support young people aged 14–25 to build confidence, self esteem, and access positive opportunities that improve their wellbeing, personal development and future career prospects. We work with young people who may face barriers to opportunity, including social isolation, low confidence, unemployment, disadvantage and disengagement from education, training or community activities. Our aim is to empower young people to reach their potential through mentoring, personal development, employability support, creative engagement and community-based programmes. Our activities include one-to-one mentoring, wellbeing support, confidence-building programmes, employability and enterprise development, progression planning, community projects and creative initiatives that encourage self-expression and participation. We work alongside local partners, schools, support services and community organisations to create accessible opportunities that help young people develop resilience, build positive relationships and progress into education, employment, training, volunteering or other positive pathways. As a Community Interest Company, any surplus generated is reinvested into delivering services and opportunities that benefit young people and the wider community. |
