| Recipient Org: Description | Enfold’s mission is to relieve those in need following an autism diagnosis or during the diagnostic process by providing information, support, and advocacy for individuals and families. The charity also works to raise awareness and improve the quality of services available to families affected by autism in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. Services include local support groups, resources, and guidance to help families access available services We are a Lived experience based organisation with a vision to enable autistic people to access the support they need, and increased knowledge and understanding of the wider community through training. We offer a range of services across the county of Northamptonshire: autism support service with individually tailored system navigating supporting over 300 per year. Adult social groups in Northampton, Kettering and Wellingborough with both day and evening sessions for each month. Parent support groups, and family activities offering a safe place for whole families to get out and meet others in a similar situation. Young persons autism advisory project (YAAP) for 11 to 25 year olds with two sessions in Kettering and two in Northampton per month, giving young people a voice and social outlet with peers. Peer support project; This is an ICB funded project as part of the key worker service working with young people at risk of psychiatric hospital admission, who have autism and or learning disability.
