This project will centre around stories collected by the pupils about the cultural traditions of the different ethnic groups that live in Forest Gate. These stories and poems will be explored using professional story tellers dancers musicians and film makers and will culminate in a series of performances. The workshops will take place between March and April 2000. The award will fund fees for dancers and choreographers 3 portable stereos and printing costs.
