This Local Authority Would Use An Award To Create A Permanent Video Presentation Documenting Memories Of People Of Newhaven During Ww2, Supported By Archive Photographs To Illustrate The Dialogue, With Sound Effects And Music. The Organisers Have Already Identified Some People With Interesting Stories And Memories, And They Would Use Resources Such As The Local Media To Select Further Interviewees To Recall Their Version Of What Happened In The Area During The Second World War. Special Events Would Be Planned For School Children To Meet And Talk To Local People Who Experienced Everyday Life In The Town During The Period. The Exhibition Would Be Held At Newhaven Fort, And Not Only Be Of Interest To All Ages Of The Local Community But Also Provide An Additional Resource For The Visiting Primary Schools That Bring In Approximately 5,500 Children Per Annum.
