This Local Authority Would Use An Award To Set Up An Exhibition Showing Local People'S Memories Of The Second World War. A Trained Reminiscence Facilitator Would Help Collect The Memories From Older People In Day-Care Centres, Residential Homes And Other Older People'S Networks. The Exhibition Would Also Contain Items And Recollections Already Stored By The Museum And Would Have A Proposed Life Of 4 Years. It Would Initially Be Displayed At Wycombe Museum And From May 2006 The Main Components Of The Display Would Be Available For Hire Throughout The Country. The Focus Of The Exhibition Would Be Mainly On The Home Front And Tie In With The National Curriculum. The Project Would Be Used As A Focus For Intergenerational Reminiscence Work As Well As A Resource For Schools And The Public.
