The Brancepeth Community Association Have Been Awarded A Grant To Allow Them To Carry Out A Weekend Of Activities That Will Commemorate The 60th Anniversary Of The End Of The Second World War. An Exhibition Containing Personal Recollections And War Memorabilia Will Be Displayed And Will Then Be Transferred Into A Book And Given To The Members Of The Community. The Dli Regimental Band Will Also Perform A Marching Display And Concert At Brancepeth Castle And This Will Later Be Following By An Evening Wartime Dance Where A Band Will Provide Entertainment.
