Grant to Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council (360G-NLHF-AHF/1/010140742)

The Libraries Of This Local Council, In Collaboration With School Children And Second World War Veterans, Will Use Their Award To Produce A Book Outlining The Experiences Of The Older Members Of The Community Of Oldham During The Second World War. A Storyteller Will Work With The School Children Where Veterans Will Be Invited To Attend And Answer Any Questions The Children Might Have. The Book Will Then Be Launched At A Party To Celebrate The 60th Anniversary Of World War Two.
