The South Derbyshire District Council Will Use Their Award To Hold A Days Activities Related To The 60th Anniversary Of The Second World War. These Activities Will Involve Old People From The Community Who Are Often Housebound. Activities Will Include A Big Band That Will Play Glen Miller Tunes, An Anne Frank Exhibition, War Memorabilia From Two Local Regiments And A Singer Specialising In Songs From The Period.
