Banbridge District Council Have Been Awarded A Grant To Carry Out A Week Of Events For The Community In Commemoration Of The 60th Anniversary Of Ww2. They Will Hold A Ww2 Exhibition With Artefacts And Memorabilia From The Era. Veterans, Widows And Home Front Veterans Will Also Visit A Number Of Clubs And Groups Including Schools Youth Groups Where They Will Share Their Experiences Of The War. A Dinner Will Be Held For Widows And Veterans, A Ve Day Gala Concert And A Ve Day Commemorative Parade Will Also Be Carried Out, All Of Which Will Have Music Of The Era.
