East Dunbartonshire Council Will Use Their Award To Undertake A Major Piece Of Research Into The Wartime History Of The Region. This Research Will Be Undertaken By Volunteers At Different Museums And Archives, From Reminiscences And Oral History Testimonies And By Making A Appeal For Photographs, Letter, Diaries And Other Memorabilia. From Which An Exhibition And A Themed Facsimile Pack For Schools Will Be Produced. The Conclusion Of The Research Will Be At A Tea Dance And A Ve Day Commemoration Event Where People From The Local Community Will Be Invited.
