Recipient Org: Description Our objective is to help adults to recover from mental ill health so that they are well enough to participate in mainstream community activities such as employment, volunteering, education, training and social interactions. We use gardening to work alongside people who have experienced serious mental health issues. Working as a group in a trusting, non-judgemental setting, activities are set to encourage risk taking, group work, learning new skills with the aim of rebuilding self esteem and confidence. Staff support individuals with issues related to their mental health including accessing housing, support with benefits, and applications for work and volunteering.
