Recipient Org: Description OxSAR has been in existence for over 10 years, and saved some 40 lives during this time. The overall aims and objectives of the organisation are to search for and rescue, vulnerable missing people within Oxfordshire and surrounding counties; last year we were called out 94 times. Vulnerable people often could include those with dementia, mental health issues, at risk children, and the elderly. The team is 100% volunteer based and we are tasked by have MOU's with Thames Valley Police, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and are longstanding members of the Oxfordshire Emergency Organisations Group and Resilience Forums.
