Resilient Minds Programme (360G-OCF-A608980)

£9,880
Recipient Organization

We want to build on our tried and tested interventions and increase our capacity to meet the need for those who most need the speedy support. Far too many people are currently waiting too long to get the help they need. By the time they are offered support the problem has escalated and the child or family then feel out of control. We want to provide earlier intervention, so Children and families have the skills to manage their issue better to avoid falling into the crisis zone. Project Objectives: Facilitate a partnership event to ensure our partners know how to refer vulnerable young people into this programme Increase our counselling offer to open more spaces for local vulnerable young people to get help at the soonest opportunity Increased Psychoeducational group work sessions for young people aged 13-25 Facilitate more parent support groups (an additional 18 parents) per year. All the above will reduce anxiety, raise confidence, and ensure young people get the support they need in a timely fashion. Our Grant will fund additional staffing hours and other costs to increase our capacity.
