The Marie Waugh Equality of Access Project (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-2014_291)

£46,146

This two-year project will provide residents of Alexandria and Jamestown who have mobility issues with scooters and support them to access local parks, canals and other amenities by providing volunteer "Scoot" guides and facilitating their participation in other regular group activities. The project will help strengthen community links by bringing together volunteers and scooter users living in the local area in order that they feel part of the community.
