Roots and Fruits (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-2015_73)

This existing 18-month project aims to involve local families, skilled local volunteers, young people and children in preparing, nurturing and harvesting an edible garden at Hastings Adventure Playground. This is a progression of the Developing Roots project funded by the Trust, focusing on the nurture of food plants that participants can bring from seed in a single growing season but also focus on the wider natural environment. The project will enable participants to regularly meet other local people and to take control of the project, developing and shaping it according to local wishes.
