A two-year project delivered a weekly programme of physical, social and sensory activities for parents and children under five living on the West Howe estate in Bournemouth. Activities were developed and organised by a project management group comprised of local parents and included family learning sessions, a stay and play social group, exercise classes for parents, family events/trips and any other activities decided by the participants throughout the year.
