This two-year project replicated existing Friendship Groups into new areas. Based on the success of the Friendship Groups, two new groups opened within the Clifton Estate in the areas of Simone Gardens and Parkgate. The groups supported isolated older people, enabled them to come together for a mixture of conversation and activities; the groups helped them to meet their peers from the local community.
