Connected Youth (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-2018_64)

This two-year project delivered weekly sessions for young people living on the Ernesettle estate in Plymouth that supported peer and social development, and engagement with the wider community. Sessions included team-building activities and opportunities to plan local community events such as a music festival. Young people on the estate had asked for the opportunity to have a greater say in decisions which impacted on their lives, giving them a voice in their community and more confidence in their capabilities. A youth committee met on a regular basis to plan, develop and evaluate the project.
