This two-year project is the development of existing work at the café for local residents in Mirehouse Community Centre in Whitehaven, Cumbria. The café aims to provide a ‘home from home’ atmosphere by offering books, games, WiFi and social interaction. Activities will include a maternity group, disabled women’s group, a knit and natter gathering and a movie night which will bring local people together.
