This existing two-year project builds on previous provision and deliver a range of youth activities at the Blackbird Leys Community Centre hall for children and young people aged 9 to 25, living in the Blackbird Leys estate, in Oxford. There are three youth groups; open access youth club, Vision Transition Group that will focus on the transition into adulthood, and Young Women’s Group to provide a space where young women are supported to safely explore issues of their choosing to raise aspirations, develop skills, confidence, and self-esteem. The project is youth-led through participation in the Youth Management Committee.
