Boccia, Badminton and Basketball for All! (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-2023_117)

£5,654

This two-year project delivers three sports clubs for disabled children and adults living in Shetland. The project aims to build social connections and improve confidence and wellbeing amongst participants by taking part in weekly sessions of boccia and badminton and fortnightly wheelchair basketball. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a peer or family member to promote inclusion, and there will be competitions in all three activities, with opportunities to take part in competitions either locally or further afield, outside of Shetland.
