Nourish to Flourish - Breathing Space (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-7362)

This two-year project in Oban, western Scotland, supports people from Gypsy/Traveller communities who are more likely to experience marginalisation, lower life expectancy and poorer mental health and people with enduring mental health problems or drug and alcohol abuse problems. Weekly sessions enable participants to get involved in outdoor activities like outdoor cooking and forest bathing. This supports them to feel more confident in nature and improve their mental wellbeing. The organisation is aiming to increase early referrals from primary care agencies and mental health teams to nature-based activities.
