This two-year project builds on an existing project to deliver a nature-based men's mental health and wellbeing group in Hastings and St Leonards for men from areas with high socio-economic disadvantage. Men are more at risk of suicide than other groups and this project seeks to create environments which allow men to connect with nature, speak openly and support each other. It will involve monthly outdoor activity days and fire circle evenings. Project Rewild is calling for increased investment in accessible nature based support and therapies.
