Positive Pathways (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-7508)

£40,000

This two-year project provides advice to women from minority ethnic communities in Luton facing social and financial disadvantage and who are currently unable to access support. The women may be facing additional domestic abuse and cultural and language barriers and are marginalised and discriminated against because of their vulnerable and insecure situations. Participants can access advice from one-to-one and drop-in sessions in a safe and welcoming environment. They are supported to find out about their rights and to improve their welfare/financial situation which should then have positive impact on their health and wellbeing.
