Advice4Empowerment&Well-Being (360G-PeoplesHealthTrust-7589)

£40,000

This two-year project operating in Norwich provides one-to-one advice and group and peer support to people from racialised communities who are socially and financially disadvantaged, have limited English and are likely to be marginalised and face discrimination with regard to employment, housing and health and social concerns. Many participants experience mental health problems and face multiple barriers to accessing advice and support with the result that they are fearful and mistrustful of mainstream services. The project provides a safe and welcoming environment to encourage participants to engage in the advice provision, make social connections and enjoy peer support and activities.
