Do microglia immune cells produce useful targets for myelin repair (360G-RSMCT-0064K000001eDoU)

£14,768
Recipient Organization

This PhD research project investigates 10 recently discovered factors produced by microglia, identifying those that are important in promoting myelin repair in MS. The project will explore how these molecules work by identifying how they change the behaviour of the cells in the brain capable of repairing myelin, called oligodendrocytes.
