Funding Organisation
£8,000

£8,000 has been awarded to Women's Budget Group to create a set of videos to explain concepts of feminist economics and highlight the changes that can be made by local, regional and government groups to promote a gender equal economy. It will encourage those groups to incorporate gender analysis into policy making, using methods such as gender responsive budgeting, equality impact statements and polices to redistribute unpaid care between men and women. The project will contribute to other aspects of the organisation's work to support grass roots women's groups to access and use data on these concepts, a network of individuals and groups advocating for women's equality and plans to build a directory of women's organisations and support them to lobby locally. The videos will be used in presentations and workshops and shared with other groups and on social media.
