| Recipient Org: Description | We are a small Scottish Charity and Limited Company we have been operational since 2001 during which time we have been establishing and facilitating networks of peer support. We currently have 23 networks across the central belt of Scotland with approx. 200 people benefiting from involvement in a network. The majority of the people we work with are people who area t risk of isolation due to having a learning disability, poor mental health, sensory impairment as well as other difficulties. All the individual networks are supported by a Community Living Worker who lives with in the same community, the Community Living Worker supports members to think about ways in which they might support each other, to link people into their community and where necessary offer housing support to support people to maintain their tenancies. |
