Recipient Org: Description Sleep Scotland was established in 1998 and has a vision that every person with complex needs will realise their potential and flourish. We do this through two distinct services; - Sleep Services which supports families of children with chronic sleep problems through behavioural counselling, advice and training of professionals, supporting 554 families (20/21). - Transitional Education Extra Needs (TEENS+) provides placements for young adults with complex and severe learning difficulties, significant communication needs, behaviors that challenge, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. TEENS is a highly bespoke and stimulating continued post school learning service for those who would have been otherwise excluded from the mainstream opportunities and helps me build their confidence and capacity to move into supported accommodation, living independently, or progressing into further education, volunteering, or work. Last year we supported 37 young adults.
