Digital Recovery Outreach Project (DROP) (360G-SCVO-a133z00000OZxpTAAT)
Recovery Scotland's Digital Recovery Outreach Project (DROP) will support people working in homelessness and people transitioning from custody in Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk. Funding will allow them to developed an additional drop in hub which will be incorporated into the organisations Assertive Recovery Outreach Services. The project will provide devices, one to one support by working with people to develop their skills and confidence with devices and to support people to be connected to wider servicesThis project will work with up to 35 participants, 12 staff and volunteers and train 12 digital champions.

| Grant Programme: Description | This funding is only available to those organisations who were previously supported through Digital Lifelines Early Adopters 1 & 2. To enable us to reach our target group we target support at people who are at risk of drug related harm and are, or have recently been: • Experiencing homelessness;• Released from custody; or • In hospital or a residential service. By working alongside people within these three criteria no person should be required to make explicit disclosure of drug use. Digital Lifelines Scotland works with organisations that demonstrate the following values and approaches:• A culture of kindness, compassion and hope which is stigma-free and co-designed in an equal partnership with those who use services. • Support which adopts the principles of harm reduction in ‘meeting people where they are’. • Integrated case management involving the person in decision making and a shared assessment of risk. • Practice which addresses not only drug use, but also other needs, and is person-centred and trauma-informed. As part of the Follow-on Fund framework, all participating organisations must already be delivering digital inclusion activity. As a minimum, this must include: • Workforce structures in place to support digital skills development e.g. Digital Champions. • Experience supporting people to build their digital skills and confidence.• Either delivering using a harm reduction approach or open to exploring a harm reduction approach with support from this programme which will include: o A session with current digital harm reduction specialist sharing learning and experience o Session to inform and support your senior leaders in understanding and developing a harm reduction approach o Digital Harm Reduction Champion Training to support your workforce o Peer learning and discussion as part of the community of learningYou can apply for a maximum of £65,000 to be spent by 31 December 2024.Please ensure you read the supporting documents before applying for funding.
