Recipient Org: Description From Actiontrack's Memorandum of Association: To educate the public in the arts, particularly those of Music and Theatre. In furtherance of these objects but not further otherwise the Company shall have the following powers:- a) The encouragement and production of musical and theatrical works and events in both educational and other institutions and establishments. b) Establishing, maintaining and supporting a company to initiate and support musical and theatrical events through the provision of tuition, guidance and resources for such events within groups and communities. c) Combining the imaginative resources of groups and communities with the expertise of the company to produce musical and theatrical events based in the aspirations and ideas of such groups. d) To research and investigate the relevant advancement of such work in communities and institutions and publish results of such research. Furthermore Actiontrack provides project delivery independently, and in county-wide partnerships that uses the arts to develop people's social engagement, aspiration, self-esteem and confidence as well as skills, employability and preparation for further training. In recent years this aspect of the work has been particularly successful alongside work with vulnerable young people and adults as well as with those isolated by rural geography.
