Recipient Org: Description Reminiscence is a local dementia charity based in Wellington Somerset specialising in dementia, activity and reminiscence. We run sessions including, Respite Activity Sessions with the overall aim of supporting carers and those they care for. Forest school outdoor activities for the younger and the more physically able, living with dementia / memory impairment and their family carers. Virtual carers support groups twice weekly and the intergenerational dementia awareness Archie Project, linking local primary schools and care homes with the ultimate aim of reducing the fear and stigma often associated with dementia. Plus a variety of specialist training workshops.
