Recipient Org: Description | The aim of the school is to provide a first class education to all of its students whatever their background, race, religion, sexuality or age. As a school we have fostered a relationship with our community over the generations that have been taught at the school and have gone on to live in the local area. Our aim is to continue to build and maintain relationships with our current and previous students. Haygrove School is evolving within the community to develop a high class learning environment for our students with the physical improvements matching that of the teaching expertise. The continual improvements are vital for the students abut they are also key for the integration of the community. Haygrove will continue to open its doors to the community for community use across a vast variety of disciplines; sport, arts, adult learning To provide a sporting environment for the community that is unavailable anywhere within the close vicinity. This involves building an artificial sports pitch that can be used every evening and weekend, along with school holidays by the community. This is important for the school to welcome visitors from the local areas but also from the rural communities. |
