Equipment for outdoor camps (360G-SomersetCF-A613234)

Scouts helps children and young adults on the journey to reaching their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world. Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society and the community. We hold term time weekly evening meetings to develop life-skills, build personal confidence, engage in teamwork activities, learn about the environment and community as well as taking part in community activities ie village litter picking, tree planting. Other opportunities, some of which are also offered during the school holidays, include outdoor events, for example woodland camps, canoe evenings, climbing, caving etc.
