Recipient Org: Description Somerset Green Pathways for Life provides practical wildlife-oriented activities in local green spaces to people living with dementia in Somerset, and their carers. These activites are designed to improve mental and physical wellbeing, confidence in going outside, to combat loneliness, and to enable people living with dementia to get involved in local community based nature conservation. In the last year we delivered 82 activity sessions. The most impactful thing we have achieved last year is that due to our project being based outdoors, we were able to keep delivering throughout much of the lockdown periods when other local dementia support groups had to close, meaning we could continue supporting individuals through this challenging time.
