The aims of Refugees Welcome - Crawley are to encourage a positive narrative about refugees in Crawley, to welcome Syrian people who are resettled in the town and to welcome refugees living in the town or passing through the town. Funding was provided to reimburse volunteers for petrol and for garden tools and compost, seeds and materials to make raised beds.

Recipient Org: Description The aims of Refugees Welcome - Crawley are to encourage a positive narrative about refugees in Crawley, to welcome Syrian people who are resettled in the town and to welcome refugees living in the town or passing through the town. We offer one to one English lessons and group conversation practice with a weekly drop-in Talk Club. We offer befriending, practical support such as groceries and clothes from our second hand clothes store. We run a young people's group to befriend unaccompanied minors, welcome events for the whole community and a community sewing project.
